Kari Skogland (born in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian film director, screenwriter, and producer.
Skogland started directing award-winning television commercials and music videos. She moved on to television shows with 1996's Traders. Traders was nominated for several Geminis including Best Director, and won Best Series.
Her first film, The Size of Watermelons won the Silver Award at WorldFest Houston. Her CBC film White Lies was nominated for several Geminis and an International Emmy and won a Tout Ecran. 50 Dead Men Walking is Skogland's most recent project. It stars Sir Ben Kingsley, Jim Sturgess, and Rose McGowan and was released in March 2009.
